It’s strange but most people seem to interested in what the famous guys are doing. You can talk about drug problems of some stars, how they spend their money or that you don’t get how that guy was put into that commercial. Gossip is fun, that’s why those tabloids sell.

Extreme Sports

You might not think this will work with women, but, and this is a pretty big BUT, it has to be something fun and unique. Football, Baseball or Hockey does not count. Not on the first date. If we talk about extreme sports, you don’t have to be a pro in it, you don’t even have to be actively doing it. It’s more like, skydiving, surfing, whatever looks cool and seems like a fun time. Fun, action, seems like you are one of those fun types to spend time with.

It does not matter if you are into art or not, at least it shows you are interested in cultural stuff. You can say how much you dislike modern art, or how you love to sketch on your napkins. Art lives from the reaction it receives, there is no right or wrong, it’s just liking or not liking. Unless you are a professional art critic.

Holidays are always a great topic, and if you last vacation has been 3 years ago, it’s probably about time you go on one… There will be stories to tell, get an opinion and don’t fear to talk about it.

Ok, relax, it’s actually a lot easier than you think. • Go for a walk with your dog, which is in case you like dogs and you have one. Otherwise just go for a walk to wherever you have to do something and ask her to accompany you. You get to talk and in case your date is rather boring you can get away pretty quick.

• Go for a swim at the beach, or in case you don’t have a beach a swimming pool will do. It might be a bit awkward for some people, but if you are naturally swimming in your pastime and it happens to be your hobby, why shouldn’t you?

• You are an artist or not even remotely interested in art? Both is GREAT! Just get a pen and paper and start drawing with your date. It’s actually ok to go for a coffee or a snack, tell her that you have to make some live art studies. Just sit down somewhere and either draw together or draw some other stuff and have fun. You can even draw stick figures and make fun of it.

• Grocery shopping! Everyone has to do it and it’s a great way to make a few jokes, get stuff that you need and go onto a date that won’t be a first date that’s been done before. Most women get Flowers, are taken out to dinner or invited to drinks, but who has the balls to actually take a woman out to go shopping? Oh and don’t be that man that pays everything, split your bills unless you are rich and used to it!

Dating is actually pretty easy, you just have to see one thing, it’s nothing special and the two people involved are nothing special as well. Learn to take it easy and you will be amazed how easy it is to have fun dates and to go beyond that awkward first date and go for another one.
